' <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> B. TRIANGLE TRANSIT AUTHORITY FUNDING REQUEST <br /> A motion was made by Corranissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner Insko, to <br /> approve funding in the amount of $6,000 for the Triangle Transit Authority, with the <br /> apprcpriation to be funded frczi the Board of ionears' conting ency fund. <br /> VOLE: uNAranzus <br /> C. PARTICIPATION IN REGIONAL BICYCLE MAN <br /> A motion was made by Coninissioner Gordon, seconded by ca nnissioner Halkiotis to <br /> approve funding for the Regional Bicycle Plan in the amount of $6,025, with the intent that <br /> there would be a bikeway plan for those areas outside of the municipalities. This will be <br /> funded from contingency. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMCXJS <br /> D. Canmissioners Willhoit and Halkiotis <br /> indicated that they perceived a need for discussion with Durham to determine exactly what kind <br /> of development is in their future plans. <br /> Mr. Dan Cox, a member of the Eno River Association, spoke in support of establishing <br /> watershed standards which will protect the Eno for future generations. <br /> A motion was made by Ccurmissioner Insko, seconded by Chairman Carey to approve the <br /> Resolution of Canment to the North Carolina Environmental Management Caamtmission on Proposed <br /> Classifications and Rules for Water Supply Watersheds, as presented, with the following <br /> exception: That the lager Eno be classified as WSIII except for the area around Hillsborough <br /> which would receive special consideration. <br /> varE: UNANIMOUS <br /> F.
