ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS <br /> CUSTODIAL SERVICES SCHEDULE <br /> The following is an outline of custodial services provided <br /> for Orange County Offices through the Orange County Public Works <br /> Department. Services are broken down by area , frequency of <br /> provision and type of service rendered . <br /> I • OFFICES, CONFERENCE ROOMS AND LIBRARIES <br /> A. DAILY <br /> * Empty wastecans , clean and replace liners as <br /> needed . <br /> * Empty and clean ashtrays , cigarette stands and <br /> sand-filled urns . <br /> * Dust desk and cabinet tops . <br /> * Vacuum and spot clean all carpeting . <br /> * Sweep and/or dry mop all hard surface floors, <br /> including storage rooms . <br /> * Clean steps and all entrances . <br /> * Spot mop floors where needed. <br /> * Re-arrange furniture as required. <br /> * Spot clean all interior glass partitions and <br /> doors . <br /> B. WEEKLY <br /> * Dust horizontal surfaces of desk, chairs , tables <br /> and files . <br /> * Sweep,, dry mop and/or vacuum full floor area . <br /> * Damp mop with clear water and wax mixture and buff <br /> non-carpeted flooring . <br /> * Spot clean walls , doors , door frames , and woodwork . <br /> C. MONTHLY <br /> * Dust vertical surfaces and underneath furniture, <br /> including table and chair legs . <br /> * Dust picture frames and wall plaques . <br />
