Oue to the unsuccessful Bond Referendum, the County <br />has about $260,000 available far Capital Improvements this year. <br />The Board suggested items they'd like to add to the list: Com- <br />missioner Walker said he'd like the Human Services Center parking lot <br />behind.the HSC gravelled and prepared; Commissioner Willhait suggested <br />the rewiring of the Orange County Industries Building. When asked for <br />estimates on the two preceding improvements, the Manager offered estimates <br />of less than.$10,000 for the HSC parking lot and less than $5,000 for <br />the rewiring of the Orange County Industries Building. <br />Tfte Board Hated those projects already completed or nearing com- <br />pletion and decided to rank the remaining projects in order of pre- <br />ference. Each Board member listed seven projects with those lie/she <br />preferred to see completed first at the top of the lust. The Board noted that ~ 1,2,3,5 and fi fit within <br />the amount of money available. There was some discussion of # 7, 2 , <br />3 and 5 with a generous contigency fund; or possibly committing approx- -' <br />imately $10,000 for an Architect's fee for planning on the Northside <br />Multipurpose Center. <br />The final decision was delayed until budget sessions. <br />
