5 <br /> 1 following capital project is hereby adopted. <br /> 2 <br /> 3 Section 1. The project authorized is the Minority AIDS Education program <br /> 4 as awarded to the Orange County Health Department by the <br /> 5 North carolina Department of Environment, Health and Natural <br /> 6 Resources. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed <br /> 9 with the grant project within the grant document, the rules <br /> 10 and regulations of the North Carolina Department of <br /> 11 Environment, Health and Natural Resources and the budget <br /> 12 contained herein. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to <br /> 15 complete this project: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Intergovernmental - AIDS Education $ 71, 933 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for this project: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Human Services - AIDS Education $ 71,933 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous AIDS Education Grant <br /> 24 Project Ordinances. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Section 6. The finance officer is hereby directed to maintain within the <br /> 27 Grant Project Fund sufficient specific detailed accounting <br /> 28 records to provide the accounting to the grantor agency <br /> 29 required by the grant agreement and federal and state <br /> 30 regulations. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Section-7. Funds may -be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose <br /> 33 of making payments due. Reimbursement requests should be <br /> 34 made to the grantor agency in an orderly and timely manner. <br /> 35 <br /> 3E_._ Section 8. Copies of this grant project ordinance shall be made <br /> 37 available to the finance officer for direction in carrying <br /> 38 out- this-__project. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> 41 GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br /> 44 13 . 2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the <br /> 45 following capital project is hereby adopted. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Section 1. The project authorized provides medical transportation to the <br /> 48 elderly as well as health, employment and leisure trips to <br /> 49 the handicapped as awarded to the Orange County Department <br /> 50 on Aging by the North Carolina Department of Transportation. <br /> 51 <br /> 52 Section 2.
