BOARD COMMENTS <br /> 33 Commissioner Halkiotis asked about the cost of mailing the <br /> 34 "Report to the People" to every citizen in the County instead of <br /> 35 inserting it in the Chapel Hill Herald and the News of Orange. John <br /> 36 Link indicated it would have cost $9, 000 to mail the report to every <br /> 37 taxpayer. By inserting it in the newspapers, it cost about $1200. A <br /> 38 total of 40, 000 will be distributed. <br /> 39 Chair Carey_referred to the letter of commendation from Sheriff <br /> 40'-- Pe-ndet,vLass -to--the- nef =-Fire Marshall, Mike. pp. He commented -theatre <br /> 41 Marshall for his fast response to the Sheriff's request. He asked about <br /> 42 spotlighting aid situation in Orange County. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 II. COUNTY MANAGER'S REPORT - NONE <br /> 45 <br /> 46 III.
