ZONING ATLAS AMENDMENT <br /> a. PD-3-90 Carolina Friends School <br /> This presentation was made by Emily Crudup. In summary this <br /> item was presented to receive citizen comment on a proposed <br /> application for a Planned Development - Class A Special Use Permit for <br /> Carolina Friends School. The property contains 32 . 94 acres and is <br /> currently zoned Rural Buffer. It is also designated Rural Buffer on <br /> the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan. The proposed zoning <br /> classification is PD-RB, Planned Development - Rural Buffer. Article <br /> 6. 20. 1 of the Zoning Ordinance prohibits in the AR and RB districts <br /> large ground absorption systems for sanitary sewage disposal with a <br /> design capacity of 3000 gallons per day or more except as approved <br /> through a Special Use Permit or a Planned Development district. The <br /> existing sewage disposal system used by Carolina Friends School <br />
