GIS AGREEMENT _ ESRI <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissione <br /> Marshall to approve and authorize the Chair to sign an agreement between the <br /> County and Environmental Systems Research Institute for the purchase of <br /> geographical information system hardware, software, and support services, to <br /> implement the first phase of GIS in the County and in participating <br /> municipalities. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> D. GIS PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissione <br /> Marshall to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the GIS Participation <br /> Agreement, and each subsequent agreement, for the participation in a <br /> cooperative GIS capability for public agencies and jurisdictions. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> E. CABLE TV EXPANSION IN NORTHEASTERN ORANGE COUNTY <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall to direct the County Attorney to draft a limited cable TV franchise <br /> agreement for Cablevision of Durham covering homes currently connected by the <br /> company and to require Carolina Cable to certify by August 6, 1990 that a <br /> cable TV corridor has been approved by Durham County. A letter must be <br /> submitted specifically outlining when homes will be connected within a six <br /> month time <br /> period. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> F. MULTI-HAZARD PLAN <br /> This item was deferred to the August 6, 1990 regular meeting of <br /> the Board. <br /> G. TANGLEWOOD ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAN <br /> The property is located in Chapel Hill Township on the east side <br /> of NC Highway 86 between Storey Lane and Benton Drive and is also known as <br /> Section Two, Acres of New Hope. Six (6) lots are proposed out of the total <br /> 16.7 acres. They are to be served by individual wells and septic tanks.
