2 <br /> The fees represent cost recovery for the direct and indirect costs of providing two ambulances <br /> with the following staffing pattern for the duration of the venue. The Infield Ambulance consists <br /> of 1 Paramedic and 1 EMT to be provided at the $1001hr rate. The Stands Ambulance consists <br /> of a crew of 2 EMTs to be provided at the $901hr rate. Because these events are not part of the <br /> daily EMS staffing pattern, all personnel coverage is provided at an overtime rate. The average <br /> g <br /> paramedic overtime hourly wage is $29.07. The average EMT overtime hourly wage is $22.40. <br /> Orange County also provides fuel, wear and tear of the ambulances, provision of specialized <br /> equipment, and any supplies utilized for non billable patient care provided at the venue. The <br /> fees also cover the indirect costs of the county's contributions to benefits, uniforms, etc. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS): The Manager recommends that the Board authorize the Chair to <br /> sign the contract which has been reviewed by the County Attorney. <br />
