Emphasize and promote the use of local <br /> foods, recycling and sustainable practices ractices in the operation of the meal program to the extent <br /> feasible. <br /> Operates a variety of office equipment and machinery such as a copy machine, fax machine, <br /> computer,scanner, transportation vehicles, etc <br /> Uses a variety of tool s such as telephone, laminator, cutting board, binding machine, paper <br /> • supplies such as paper, card stock, toner, notebooks, writing instruments, <br /> cutter, etc., a variety of supple p p - <br /> name tag, luggage holders, general office supplies, etc., and a variety of computer software such <br /> as Microsoft (Nord, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Access, <br /> Microsoft PowerPoint, etc. <br /> g als about the meal program and the <br /> various groups and individuals Interacts and communicates with p -• <br /> nutritional needs of older adults and those living with disabilit ies or chronic health conditions. <br /> This includes communicating dint <br /> unicatin with the Senior Centers Administrator, senior and older a <br /> papulation, volunteers, department staff, other community divisions, board and committee <br /> members Count and town officials, interns, and the general public. <br /> Y <br /> ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS <br /> Prepare for special celebrations luncheons and events or meetings within local representatives, <br /> , <br /> agency representatives, and board members attend. <br /> Assist with other Department functions. <br /> Performs related duties as assigned <br /> MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE <br /> Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and two <br /> to four years of experience <br /> in human services related field. Prefer experience in gerontology. <br /> Possession of or ability to y <br /> readil obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina <br /> operated.
