This item was <br /> presented to consider setting a public hearing on the question of <br /> enacting a resolution imposing an additional one-half cent local option <br /> sales tax in Orange County. It was decided that if the legislature <br /> approves a 1/2 cent sales tax for counties that the Chair will set a <br /> special meeting for a public hearing. <br /> C. BID AWARD/CONTRACT APPROVAL - GOVERNMENT SERVICES CENTER <br /> BUILDING <br /> This presentation was made by Pam Jones. This item was <br /> presented to consider awarding a bid for the construction of the <br /> Government Services Building and for the renovation of the existing Tax <br /> and Records Building.
