Gordon, Verla C. Insko and Don <br /> Willhoit. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill <br /> STAFF PRESENT: County Manager John M. BOARD COMMENTS - NONE <br /> II. COUNTY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> John Link stated that at the next meeting the County Attorney <br /> will have available for the Board the items they want to be submitted <br /> to the General Assembly for local legislation. <br /> Geoffrey Gledhill listed the items for which the Board agreed to <br /> seek local legislation. These are listed below: <br /> 1. An act to provide for changes in the Subdivision regulations <br /> relating to recreation areas. <br /> 2 . An act which would authorize the County to grant density <br /> bonuses. <br /> 3 . An act allowing the County to acquire land for farm <br /> preservation and watershed protection. <br /> 4 . An act to require financial security for the repair and <br /> operation of community septic systems. <br /> 5. A bill to levy an occupancy tax <br /> 6. Impact tax bill, if Chapel Hill agrees, or the Impact fee <br /> bill on a countywide basis. <br />
