Vote: Ayes, 5; Noes, 0. <br />The Board asked that the.Chair notify Ms. Mulvihill of the Board's <br />endorsement. <br />Agenda Item 6: Petitions for Tax Refunds <br />A'. .Lawrence and Tolison Ramsey $31.48 ~' <br />The Tax Supervisor said both the husband and wife had listed a single , <br />car and he recommended the refund of $31.48. <br />Commissioner Barnes moved to accept the Tax Supervisor's recommendation <br />of a refund for $31.48 'to the Ramseys~ Commissioner Whitted seconded the <br />.:, <br />motion. Votes: ,ayes, 5; Noes, 0. ,.. <br />B. Robert F. Chambless $143.34 - <br />The Tax $upervisor recommended this tax refund also because Mr. Chambless <br />had double listed a vehicle on both personal property and business tax.. <br />Commissioner Whitted moved and Commissioner Walker seconded to refund the <br />amount of $143,34 to Dr.•Chambless. Vote: Eyes, 5; Noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 7: Appeals of Tax Appeals <br />A. Barbara Stocking <br />Ms. Stocking said she thought she had.~mailed her form but it has not - <br />been received by the Taz Office. The Tax Supervisor said in the absence of <br />a listing he assesses 20% of the evaluation; but the normal assessment is <br />5% plus the automobile. <br />Commissia.ner Willhoit moved to make the adjustment for Ms. Stocking <br />in the amount of 5% plus her car. Commissioner Whitted seconded the motion. <br />Vote: Ayes, 5; Noes, 0. <br />B. James and John Paliouras <br />Neither of these citizens were present but the Clerk told the Board <br />they had planned to be present tonight. The Board deferred action until <br />the Paliouras' could arrive. <br />
