The Qoard voiced concern over the amount of notifi- <br />cation the adjacent property owners had received. Mr. Parker said they had <br />received a copy of the petition but no other notification. <br />Commissioner Barnes moved and Commissioner Whitted seconded to reschedule <br />this topic for January 20th, and asked that the adjacent property owners be <br />sent notification of such action so they might appear before the Board before <br />i~G,~;adopts the Resolution calling fora public hearing and intent to close <br />the roadway. Vote: Ayes, 2 (Commissioners Barnes and Wh.iti;ed.); Noes, l <br />(Commissioner Gustaveson). Proposed Budget Calendar for the 1981-82 <br />Fiscal Year <br />The Board received the Manager's proposed budget calendar for the 1981-82 <br />Fiscal Year with the fallowing suggested changes: <br />1. A special meeting for a CIP session; <br />2. Two separate meetings for the two school boards in Orange County <br />a. May 19th--The Orange County Schools present to the Board <br />during a regular meeting. <br />b. May 20th--A special meeting in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area <br />for that school system to present to the Board. <br />3. 5peci.al meetings as needed after the Public Hearing on June 16th <br />through dune 21. <br />The Board asked the Personnel pi rector if the evaluation system would <br />be operative for this year's merit increases; she replied it would be effective <br />for part of this year and completely operative over the next twelve months. <br />
