Permit Forms <br />Orange County will provide the RM permit form in an electronic version for Chapel Hill to <br />reproduce as necessary. The Town may make the form available via the Internet if it deems <br />appropriate. <br />The Town should return copies of executed and issued RM permit forms to the Orange <br />County Solid Waste mailbox in the Chapel Hill Town Hall. The County will collect these <br />forms on an at least weekly basis. <br />The Town staff will execute and issue most RM permit forms with the exception of those <br />permits involving demolition, which may either be faxed to Orange County Solid Waste or <br />be placed in a separate envelope in the Orange County Solid Waste mailbox in the Chapel <br />Hill Town Hall for execution and issuance by Orange County Solid Waste. A copy of any <br />RM permit forms executed by Orange County Solid Waste pursuant to this Memorandum <br />of Understanding will be returned to the Chapel Hill Inspections Department. The fax <br />number for Orange County Solid Waste is 932-2900. <br />Collection Start Date <br />RM permit fees will be collected beginning July 1, 2008. <br />Responsibilities <br />• The Town shall be responsible for: <br />o Assessing the RM fee <br />o Providing the RM permit form to the public <br />o Placement of executed and issued RM permit forms in the Orange County Solid <br />Waste Management mailbox located in Town Hall <br />o Remitting the County on a quarterly basis less the Town's administrative fee of 3% <br />• The County shall be responsible for: <br />o Providing the RM permit form electronically to the Town for disbursement <br />o Executing and issuing RM permit forms involving demolition <br />o Visiting jobsites to ascertain compliance with the RRMO <br />
