Consultant's Responsibilities <br />The Consultant will be fully responsible for preparation of the draft Consolidated Plan. All such <br />documents will be provided to the County in Microsoft Word compatible format, including all <br />tables, charts, maps, etc. The Consultant will be responsible for all data collection and analysis, <br />development of draft recommendations on priorities and strategies, and completing all revisions <br />as determined through the public involvement process. It is expected that the Consultant will <br />attend most of the public meetings and may conduct other meetings and key person interviews <br />independently. <br />5. County Responsibilities <br />The County will be responsible for preparing and executing the Service Agreements with the <br />selected Consultants, and for overseeing the entire project. The Consortium member jurisdiction <br />staffs will assist in scheduling and provide logistical support for primary public involvement <br />meetings. Some geographical information system (GIS) mapping and data sets may be available <br />from the County but the Consultant should not assume specific availability without verifying <br />with the County. <br />The County reserves the right to: <br />• Waive minor deficiencies and irregularities; <br />• Accept or reject any or all responses received as a result of this RFP; <br />• Obtain information concerning any or all proposers from any source; <br />• Select for negotiation or award, the proposal which best meets the selection <br />criteria and/or best serves the public interest; and <br />• Negotiate with the successful Consultant with respect to any additional terms or <br />conditions of the Agreement for Services. <br />
