Amendment to FY2007-08 Current Year Contract with Personalized Patient Home <br />Assistance. Inc. to Provide In-Home Aide Services to Eligible Adults <br />The Board amended the FY2007-08 contract with Personalized Patient Home Assistance Inc. <br />for In-Home Aide Services to eligible adults and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />I. Renewal of Contract with Center for Employment Trainina for Vocational Trainina <br />The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation to renew the contract with the <br />Center for Employment Training and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval <br />of the FY 2008-09 budget. <br />m. Renewal of Contract with Northern Blue. L L P for DSS Legal Services <br />The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation and approved the renewal of a <br />contract with Northern Blue for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 for legal representation for the <br />Department of Social Services and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval of <br />the FY 2008-09 budget. <br />n. Approval of Continuation of Contract with OPC <br />The Board. approved the continuation of a contract with Orange-Person-Chatham LME for a <br />part-time liaison to assist clients of Social Services to access needed mental health services <br />and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval of the FY 2008-09 budget. <br />o. Renewal of Contract with UNC Hospitals for DSS to Provide Medicaid Workers <br />The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation to renew a contract for income <br />maintenance staff at UNC Hospitals and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />~, Renewal of Contract for Social Work Services Between Orange County Schools and <br />Orange County Department of Social Services <br />The Board accepted the recommendation of the Social Services Board to renew the contract <br />between the Orange County Schools and the Orange County Department o~ Social Services for <br />the provision of eight Department of Social Services positions and related supervision to <br />provide social work and case management services in the schools, contingent on the <br />continuation of the contract funding, and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />,g_ Approval of Contract with Betty Rantoul. Ph.D. to Provide Mental Health Screenings <br />for Young Children in Child Welfare System <br />The Board approved a contract with Dr. Betty Rantoul to provide mental health services for <br />young children involved with child welfare services and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />r.
