Amendment to FY2007-08 Current Year Contract with Personalized Patient Home Assistance, Inc. to Provide In-Home Aide Services to Eligible Adults The Board amended the FY2007-08 contract with Personalized Patient Home Assistance Inc. for In-Home Aide Services to eligible adults and authorized the Chair to sign. Renewal of Contract with Center for Employment Training for Vocai~,ional Training The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation to renew the contract with the Center for Employment Training and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval of the FY 2008-09 budget. • m. Renewal of Contract with Northern Blue, L.L.P. for DSS Legal Services The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation and approved the renewal of a contract with Northem Blue for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 for legal representation for the Department of Social Services and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval of the FY 200$-09 budget. n. Approval of Continuation of Contract with OPC The Board approved the. continuation of a contract with Orange-Person-Chatham LME for a part-time liaison to assist clients of Social Services to access needed mental health services and authorized the Chair to sign contingent upon the approval of the FY 2008-09 budget. o. Renewal of Contract with UNC Hospitals for DSS to Provide Medicaid Workers The Board accepted the Social Services Board recommendation to renew a contract for income maintenance staff at UNC Hospitals and authorized the Chair to sign. ~ Renewal of Contract for Social Work Services Between Orange County Schools and Orange County Department of Social Services The Board accepted the recommendation of the Social Services Board to renew the contract between the Orange County Schools and the Orange County Department of Social Services for the provision of eight Department of Social Services positions and related supervision to provide social work and case management services in the schools, contingent on the continuation of the contract funding, and authorized the Chair to sign. g: Approval of Contract with Betty Rintoul, Ph.D. to Provide Mental Health Screenings for Young Children in Child Welfare System The Board approved a contract with Dr. Betty Rintoul to provide mental health services for young children involved with child welfare services and authorized the Chair to sign. r.
