61' <br /> MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS• <br /> SEPTEMBER 22, 1980 <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular session <br /> on Monday, September 229 1980, at 7:30, p.m. , in the Commissioners. <br /> Room, Orange County Courthouse, in Hillsborough, North Carolina.. <br /> Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br /> and Commissioners Anne Barnes, Norman Gustaveson, Norman Walker and <br /> Don Willhoit. <br /> i <br /> The following items were deleted from the agenda: <br /> Agenda Item 4: CETA <br /> Agenda Item 12: Office Space Allocations <br /> The following item was added to the agenda: <br /> Agenda Item 15: Commissioner Barnes will make an announcement. <br /> Agenda Item 3: Juvenile Justice Detention Funds Allocation <br /> Mr. Harold Rogerson presented recommendations of the Youth Needs <br /> Task Force relative to the allocation of certain Juvenile Justice <br /> Detention Prevention funds: A) That $4,000 be allocated the Janus House <br /> Liaisons Worker and that, B) $1 ,320 be allocated to the Tree House Weekend <br /> Worker. Commissioner Willhoit moved the Board accept these recommendations <br /> and apply to the state for these funds. Commissioner Gustaveson seconded <br /> the motion. Vote: ayes 5; noes 0. <br /> Agenda Item 5: Transfer of $7,500 to Tax Supervisor's Budget <br /> The Manager advised the Board the Register of Deeds and Tax <br /> Supervisor were requesting an appropriation of $7,500 to assist in mapping <br /> and the Land Title Records project. <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved $7,500 be transferred from the <br /> contingency fund to the Tax Supervisor's budget. Commissioner Walker <br /> seconded the motion. Vote: ayes 5; noes 0. <br /> Agenda Item 6: ACCESS <br /> Joe Bradshaw reviewed possible approaches to develop a proposal for <br /> acquiring certain real property from ACCESS. These ideas involved county <br /> association with the HSAC or the Association of Community Agencies. <br /> re missioner Gustavesnn raved the staff develon a proposal. the county <br /> apply for title to this property,and after receiving sufficient public <br /> input, develop a plan to use.this property to fill a variety of human <br />
