Agenda Item 6: Appointments <br /> 3 The Chairman announced one vacancy on the OWASA Board created <br /> by the resignation of Mrs. Flo Garrett. The Board requested the Clerk <br /> readvertise this position. <br /> t Commissioner Willhoit nominated Ms. Jane Ryan to serve on the <br /> 1 <br /> I Commission for Women. Commissioner Barnes nominated Ms. Phyllis Walker. <br /> S <br /> i Commissioner Gustaveson nominated Ms. Joyce Harshaw but withdrew his <br /> nomination upon learning Ms. Harshaw was employed by Orange County. <br /> Commissioner Barnes nominated Ms. Virginia Sellew. <br /> There being no further nominations, Commissioner Gustaveson moved, <br /> seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to appoint Ms. Virginia Sellew and. <br /> Ms. Phyllis Walker to the Commission for Women. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved to appoint Jane Ryan to the Commission <br /> for Women.
