R <br /> AW <br /> Mrs. Joy Thomas requested the Board grant a refund for 1977, 1978, •, <br /> and 1979 taxes paid in the amount of $710.20 since her house has <br /> one story and has been appraised for those years as a two story house. <br /> The Chairman said the Board would consult with its Attorney and Tax Super- <br /> visor and notify her within 30 days of its decision. <br /> Mr. Lewis Pierceall complained the value placed on his automobile. <br /> and mobile home were too high and requested an appraiser visit <br /> the mobile home site before determining its value. <br /> a <br /> The Chairman directed the Tax Supervisor to visit the site <br /> of Mr. Pierceall's mobile home and to check Mr. Pierceall's listing <br /> abstract to make sure he had filed for the homestead exemption. <br /> The Tax Supervisor said 1.93 acres in Eno Township (17C.B.6) <br /> belonging to James S. Thompson III had failed to pass Orange County <br /> Health Department's test for septic system. The Chairman said the <br /> Board would make a decision on this appeal within the next 30 days. <br /> fMr. Gerald Featherstone requested his mobile home be reassessed <br /> :a for 1977 and 1978. The Board directed the Tax Supervisor to check <br /> the value of Mr. Featherstone's mobile home. The Chairman said <br /> the Board would notify Mr. Featherstone of its decision within <br /> E 30 days. <br /> The Tax Supervisor recommended changing the value of <br /> x <br /> Patsy 0. Tronzo's lot in Chapel Hill Township (54A, Block A, Lot 7) <br /> 4 from $14,000 to $3,500 per acre since the declaration of restrictions <br /> prohibits building a house on this tract. <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br /> to approve the Tax Supervisor's recommendation for Mrs. Tronzo's lot. <br /> 4 <br /> Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Mr. Robert A. Vaillancourt (tax map ''43, block G, lot 11, tract 6371) <br /> requested refund of 1979, 1978 and 1977 taxes in the amount of $3,400 <br /> since his house has been appraised as having a basement but has no <br /> basement.
