:4 <br /> MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 4, 1980 <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in regular <br /> session on Monday, August 4, 1980, at 10:00 a.m., in the Commissioners <br /> house; in Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br /> Room, Orange County Court <br /> Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br /> and Commissioners Norman Walker, Norman Gustaveson, and Anne Barnes. <br /> Commissioner Don Willhoit was absent. <br /> The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> Agenda Item 22• Request for Public Meeting from RC & D <br /> Agenda Item 16J: Appointment to Art School Board <br /> of Directors <br /> Mrs. Josephine Barbour raised a question about a newspaper article <br /> indicating the county's participation in the Airport Authority. <br /> Mr. Wes Hare raised a question about the water closet situation at <br /> the new Human Services Center. <br /> Agenda Item 3: Minutes <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Whined, to <br /> approve the minutes of June 2, 1980 as corrected. Vote: ayes, 4; <br /> noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to approve the minutes of June 3, 1980, as corrected. Vote: ayes, 4; <br /> noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded.by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to approve the minutes of June 9, 1980, as corrected. Vote: ayes, 4; <br /> noes, 0. <br /> The Board requested the Clerk check the tape of the June 11th <br /> meeting and then resubmit the minutes for approval. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to approve the minutes of June 13, 1980, as submitted. Vote: ayes, 4; <br /> noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to approve the minutes of June 17, 1980, as corrected. Vote: ayes, 4; <br /> noes, 0. <br />
