MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JUNE 18, 1980 <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special session <br /> on Wednesday, June 18, 1980, at 7:30 p.m., in the Board Room, Lincoln <br /> Center, Merritt Mill Road, in Chapel Hill , North Carolina. <br /> Commissioners present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, <br /> and Commissioners Norman Walker, Norman Gustaveson, Don Willhoit <br /> and Anne Barnes. <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to review the proposed <br /> Orange County budget for fiscal year 1980-81. <br /> The Finance Director submitted a memorandum concerning recommended <br /> budget amendments. For copy of this memorandum, see page 519 of <br /> this book. <br /> Commissioner Barnes raved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to approve the transfer in the Land Title Records Project's budget <br /> recommended by the Finance Director. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br /> to approve the budget amendment for the Health Department recommended <br /> by the Finance Director. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> i to approve the budget amendment for the Housing Authority recommended <br /> by the Finance Director. Vote: ,ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> I Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, to <br /> P <br /> approve budget amendments -for Cedar Grove and Orange Rural Fire Districts <br /> as recommended by the Finance Director. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br /> to approve the budget amendment in CETA Administration, IV YCCIP, SYEP <br /> and Resources as recommended by the Finance Officer. Vote: ayes, 5; <br /> noes, 0. <br /> The Board then reviewed the Public Works section of the <br /> i proposed county budget for 1980-81.
