Sanitation District #1, KY. Curzently reviewing draft City and County <br />ordinances in Northern Kentucky's Sanitation District # 1 jurisdiction. This includes review of zoning and <br />subdivision ordinances to identify barriers to and opportunities for green infrastmcture and LID techniques. <br />Agaa Hedia:rla Watershed Management Plmr -City of Vista, CA. Lead watershed plawer for the Agua Hedionda <br />Lagoon watershed in Sohthem California. Project involved comprehensive watershed management plan <br />development and stakeholder facilitation. The project involved local planning and stormwater ordinance review and <br />recommendations for incorporating appropriate LID and green mfrastmeture techniques into the acid to semi-arid <br />environment, as well as the cost and benefits of implementing such teclmiques. High priority areas for LID and green <br />infrastmcture BMP retrofits were also identified. Areas and sites within the watershed were prioritized to meet the <br />stakeholder management objectives. Led in development of implementation strategy. <br />Lake Marnuelle If atershed Plaa -Central Arkansas IJ'nler,AR. Managed plarming and cost-evaluation components <br />of project to develop a watershed management plan; co-facilitated Policy Advisory Council and Technical Advisory <br />Comrcil in developing, evaluating, and selecting the preferred management options which mctuded requirements fot <br />low-impact development design, conservation offsets, and sustainable management of decentralized wastewater <br />systems; led cost analysis; co-led public education and outreach efforts; led in writing the Management Plan and <br />implementation strategy which was wranimousty adopted by the Central Arkansas Commission in February 2007. <br />Framework for Enharrcerl Mnagement of Decentralized Wastewater Systems. Berkley County, Wl'. Worked with <br />local stakeholder group to develop recommendations for enhanced management of decenhalized wastewater <br />systems. This included management and oversight options for newly permitted systems, a tiered management <br />approach for managing existing systems; implementing a management partnership among different agencies; local <br />ordinances needed, and potential costs and funding sources for the program. <br />NCEEP Laenl iValersLed Plannirg-North Carolina Ecological Enhancement Program. Lead planner and <br />facilitator in developing the Swift Creek Local Watershed Management Plan and the Morgan Creek Local <br />Watershed Management Plan. Assisted in developing targeting and prioritization criteria for restoration site, LID <br />BMP retrofits, and open space preservation. Conducted local ordinance reviews and recommended revisions for <br />encouraging better site design and Low-Impact Development design. <br />Cary Torvn Center Stmnnvater Management Plnn -Town of Cary, NC. Managed the policy and planning <br />components of a project to develop an innovative plan for managing stormwater runoff from an area being <br />redeveloped to intensive commercial and high density residential use. Multiple approaches to management, <br />including low-impact design and density averaging, were evaluated for potential incorporation in the plan. <br />Recommendations for needed revisions to local and state regulations and ordinances, and a process For <br />implementation were also developed. <br />McDowell Creek Watershed Marmgeurent (NC) -Mecklenburg Courrfy and Town ofHuntersvi!!e, NC. Worked <br />with staff and advisory boards to develop management goals, targets, and strategies for managing new development <br />centered on low-impact development design. Assistedvt developing stonnwater management ordinance and water <br />quality design manual, adopted January 2003. included four low-impact design case studies with storznwater <br />management and cost analysis. <br />
