<br />Clarion Associates
<br />Roger Waldon is a Principal with Clarion Associates, based in the North Carolina office. Mr. Waldon
<br />served as Planning Director for the Town of Chapel HiII for 21 years, directing the Town's comprehensive
<br />planning and growth management functions. His work has emphasized neighborhood conesea ation and
<br />growth management> including preparation of land use plans and special area plans, p p
<br />administration of design guidelines, transportation planning, annexation, capital improvements, housing
<br />and community development initiatives, and evaluation of development applications. Prior to his work
<br />for Chapel Hill, Mr. Waldon worked on regional initiatives as Director of Planning Programs for the
<br />Triangle J, Council of Governments, a regional planning organization based in the Research Triangle
<br />Park, North Carolina. He has also served as an elected official on the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Board of
<br />Education. Mr. Waldon is a frequent speaker at national planning conferences, and has lectured on
<br />planning topics at Universities in Massachusetts and North Carolina. He has been recognized as a
<br />Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
