120 <br />Annotated Outline <br />ENFORCEMENT <br />General Commentary: This section will carry forward the provisions in the existing ordinance with some minor reorganization and <br />reformatting to be consistent with the rest of the UDO. By making it easier to understand the enforcement process, we hope to reduce <br />the Gme, expense, and uncertainty of enforcing the UDO. One aspect for the town to consider is the inclusion of a discussion of the <br />enforcement process iit the administrative manual as a way to help ensure potential code violators better understand the enforcement <br />process. <br />PURPOSE <br />This section will set forth the purpose of the enforcement section. <br />COMPLIANCE REQUIRED <br />This section will state that compliance with all provisions of the UDO is <br />required. <br />VIOLATIONS <br />This section will explain that failure to comply with any provision of the UDO, <br />or the terms or conditions of any permit or authorization granted pursuant to <br />the UDO, shall constitute a violation of the ordinance. The seNon will include <br />both general violations as well as identifying specific violations. <br />RESPONSIBLE PERSONS <br />This section will state that any person who violates the UDO shall be subject to <br />the remedies and penalties set forth in this chapter. Cumulative Penaltes <br />ENEORCEMENT GENERALLY <br />This section will identify those persons responsible for enforcement of the provisions of the UDO, as well as the general <br />enforcement procedure. The Planning Director (or designee) shall be responsible for enforcement of the UDO.
