Orange County Zoning Ordinance <br />Section 6.23 (Extra Requirements for Watershed Protection Overlay Districts) <br />The following table shows basic regulations pertaining to the Upper Eno "Protected" and "Critical Area" watershed. <br />Further information can be found in Section 6.23 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />D <br />m <br />0 <br />3 <br />CD <br />00 <br />.P <br />Upper Eno "Protected" <br />Upper Eno "Critical Area" <br />Land Use <br />• No discharging landfills are permitted. <br />• No new landfills are permitted. <br />Restrictions <br />• Industrial use is limited to non - hazardous <br />• No commercial or industrial uses are <br />light industrial uses characterized by low <br />permitted except within the Cedar Grove <br />water use [defined in Section]. <br />Rural Community Activity Node where the <br />properties at the intersection of Efland Cedar <br />Grove and Carr Store Roads, running <br />westward from the intersection approximately <br />eight hundred fifty (850) feet, shall be allowed <br />to be developed for commercial purposes <br />consistent with the requirements of the <br />Ordinance. <br />• No new golf courses are permitted. <br />• No residual (sludge) application is permitted. <br />Residential Density <br />Maximum density is as permitted in the <br />• 1 dwelling unit per 2 acres. <br />underlying zoning district.
