This notification is occurring in accordance with Articles 2 and 20 of the <br />Orange County Zoning Ordinance. <br />Orange County is proposing regulatory amendments to "Watershed Critical Area that <br />will affect the Upper Eno watershed. A list of regulatory sections proposed for <br />amendment is included at the end of this letter. These proposed amendments will result <br />in changes to the current boundary of the Upper Eno Watershed Critical Area. Your <br />property, or a portion thereof, is currently within a Watershed Critical Area and is <br />proposed to be removed from the Watershed Critical Area designation. <br />Additionally, your property may be located within 500 -feet of other affected parcels. <br />This action, if approved by the Board of County Commissioners, will result in a change <br />to which zoning regulations (such as maximum density and impervious surface limits) <br />your property is subject to. Maps, text changes, and other information regarding the <br />proposed changes can be viewed at the following website: <br />http://www.co.orange.nc.us/planning/CeiticatAreaAmendments.asp <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners and Planning Board will hold a Joint <br />Public Hearing on the proposed changes on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. <br />at the Central Orange Senior Center located at 103 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsborough, <br />North Carolina. Interested persons are invited to address the boards with their <br />comments regarding the proposed amendments at this Joint Public Hearing. <br />Prior to the public hearing, Planning Department staff will hold a Public Information <br />Meeting to provide interested persons with an opportunity to speak with Planning <br />Department staff individually and to have amendments clarified on an individual basis. <br />The Public Information Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the <br />
