Commissioner Walker withdrew his motion. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br /> table this item and to request the Manager check with the Department of <br /> Transportation about a mechanism to accelerate the paving of the County's <br /> secondary roads. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Agenda Item 15C: Stone creek Subdivision, Phase 2 <br /> The Planning Director reviewed the preliminary plan of <br /> Stoneycreek Subdivision, Phase 2, tax map 3, lot 1, in Chapel Hill <br /> Township. <br /> Mr. Allen Fine, Developer, discussed the number of home sites <br /> in the development. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to adopt the Planning Board's recommendation to approve the preliminary <br /> plan of Stoneycreek Subdivision, Phase 2, with the elimination of duplicate, <br /> similar sounding road names and the following provisions: 1) There should <br /> i be drainage easements as specified by the Erosion Control Officer. The <br /> following phrase should be written on the plat: "The building of structures <br /> t to Section IV-B-S <br /> is prohibited an this strip pursuan of the Orange County <br /> i. <br /> Subdivision Regulations". 2) Provide 60 foot right-of-way for a stubout <br /> through lot no. 3 from the intersection to the western property line <br /> that meets the horizontal alignment as required by the Department of <br /> Transportation. 3) Provide a 60 foot right-of-way for a stubout through <br /> lots no. 22 or 23 to the eastern property line that meets the horizontal <br /> alignment as required by the Department of Transportation. <br /> Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> Agenda Item 15D: John's Woods <br /> The Planning Director reviewed the preliminary plan for John's Woods <br /> Subdivision, tax map 112, part of lot 35, in Chapel Hill Township. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> z to refer this plan to Carrbaro for a courtesy review.
