4 <br />irreversibly lost, and which enjoin the Governor from <br />sequestering these funds; <br />7) Criminal Justice Partnership Program (CJPP) <br />Continuation Funding (from Current Non - Recurring <br />Status) - Support legislative actions to provide <br />reliable full funding for CJPP as it saves money in the <br />long term for both state and local governments. CJPP <br />provides grants to support community -based programs <br />aimed at reducing recidivism, probation revocations, <br />alcoholism and other drug dependencies, and the costs <br />of incarceration to the state and counties, with the <br />Division of Community Corrections (DCC) administering <br />the program. The eligible offender population includes <br />adult sentenced offenders who receive an intermediate <br />sanction and post- release or parole offenders. <br />Orange County understands the Department of Juvenile <br />Justice /Delinquency Prevention, like all State <br />agencies, must grapple with reduced resources and the <br />threat of further cuts in a tough fiscal environment. <br />The County acknowledges the difficulty achieving these <br />adjustments and appreciates the Department's commitment <br />to sustaining the majority of direct services to North <br />
