=i <br /> Agenda Item 13: A ointments-Health & Medical Care Advisory Council <br /> The Chairman announced four vacancies existed on the Health and <br /> Medical Care Advisory Council. <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, <br /> to reappoint Ms. Mary Rita Gray and Mr. Kenneth Strayhorn to three <br /> year terms on the Health and Medical Care Advisory Council. Vote: <br /> ayes, 5; noes, 0. ; <br /> Commissioner Barnes requested a letter of appreciation be sent <br /> to Ms. Flo Garrett, who did not seek reappointment to the Council <br /> and requested the Clerk advertise the two remaining vacancies. <br /> Agenda Item 13B: Resignation-Board of Health <br /> The Chairman announced Dr. William A. Nebel had resigned from <br /> the County Board of Health. Dr. Nebel suggested Dr. Charles Sheaffer <br /> be appointed to fill his unexpired term. <br /> Agenda Item 15: Road Matter <br /> The Board requested the Clerk to contact the Department of <br /> Transportation to request a Dead End road sign be erected on SR 1722, <br /> Bumphus Road. <br /> Agenda Item 14: Executive Session <br /> The County Attorney recommended the Board move into executive <br /> session to discuss a law suit, Town of Hillsborough vs. Norman Walker, <br /> et al. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br /> to move into executive session. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> The Chairman called for open session to resume. <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br /> authorize the County Attorney to proceed to prepare for defense of a <br /> vs. Board of County Commissioners, the <br /> law suit, Town of Hillsborough <br /> results of the defense being to quiet title to the County library <br /> building in the County of Orange. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner <br /> x <br /> Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
