Commissioners Walker <br /> and Gustaveson were absent from the afternoon meeting. <br /> Agenda Item 11: CETA Public Service Employees <br /> The Manager submitted a memorandum concerning public service employees <br /> working in County departments. For copy of this memorandum, see page 315 of <br /> this book. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, to <br /> approve the Manager's recommendation for Position No. 1, Switchboard <br /> Operator, at a cost of $2,836. Vote: ayes, 3; noes, O. <br /> Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, to <br /> authorize the Manager to hire a half-time temporary personnel <br /> position for the Commission for Women's office. Vote: ayes, 3; noes, 0. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br /> to approve the Manager's recommendation concerning the position of <br /> Road Naming Coordinator.
