Agenda Item 9: Inspection Fees <br /> The Manager submitted a memorandum from the Board of Health <br /> recommending fees for the well installation program of the Orange County <br /> Health Department. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, D. <br /> Agenda Item 13: Meeting Schedule for March <br /> The Chairman announced the first Monday meeting in March conflicted with <br /> Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded <br /> the NACo Legislative Conference. <br /> by Commissioner Barnes, to postpone the March 3rd meeting of the Board <br /> of Commissioners to March 10, 1980, at 7:30 p.m. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br /> The Chairman requested the Clerk comply with public notice requirements <br /> for this meeting. <br /> Agenda Item 14• Cha el Hill-Carrboro Multi ur ose Center <br /> Commissioner Willhoit reported funding may become available from the <br /> State for upgrading day care centers. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved to refer to the Social Services Board <br /> the question of what the County should do in the area of providing day <br /> care facilities in terms of the Multipurpose Center so that preparation <br /> will be made for committing space if funds are available. Motion died <br /> for lack of a second. <br /> The Board requested an opportunity to discuss the question of the <br /> County being a provider of day care facilities before referring this <br /> question to the Social Service Board. The Chairman requested this item <br /> be placed on- the February 4th agenda. <br /> Agenda Item 15: Telephone Exchange System <br /> The Purchasing Director submitted his recommendation for additional <br /> features for the telephone exchange system.
