F •. <br />Commissioner Wil1hoit moved to refer this item back to the Planning <br />Board for clarification of the questions members of the Board have raised. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />It was the consensus of the Board to schedule a discussion with the <br />Planning_Baard at the joint meeting on the 18th to discuss the Commissioners <br />questions about 5cotswvod Subdivision so that it might be possible for the <br />Board of Commissioners to take action at that time. <br />y <br />Vall~ood,5u,bdivision <br />The Planning Director reviewed the preliminary plan of Valleywood Sub- <br />division. Mr. ,lack Carlyle, owner, was present and explained some <br />erosion control matters with the Board. <br />Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />accept the Planning Board's recommendation to approve the preliminary <br />plan of Valleywood Subdivision (tax map 112, Lot 31 A, Chapel Hill Township} <br />with the stipulation that certain restrictive covenants approved by the <br />County Attorney be placed on lots west of the cul-de~sac to disallo:r any <br />further future development. Vote: ayes, Commissioners Walker, Gustaveson, <br />Whitted, and Barnes; noes, Commissioner Wi1lhoit. <br />Agenda Item 28: Extension of Water, and_Sewer to Mebane_,Industry <br />A representative of the Mebane Industrial Expansion Committee and <br />the Rollins Truck Leasing firm requested the Board consider providing <br />approximately $55,300 for water and sewer line materials and installation <br />to serve the Rollins firm near the cloverleaf of I-85 and Buckhorn Road. <br />Mr. Brian Mansfield, Secretary of Orange County Industrial Facilities <br />and Pollution Control Financing Authority, was present to answer Board questions. . <br />It was the consensus of the Board to refer this matter to the Authority <br />for its recommendations regarding the company and its benefits to Orange <br />County and for their recommendations concerning a water & sewer extension policy. <br />Agenda Item 26: Public_Service, Employment Allocations <br />The CETA Director reviewed and submitted PSE Allocations for the <br />remainder of the federal fiscal year. For copy of these figures, <br />see page 131 of this book. <br />Given the lateness of the hour, Commissioner Walker moved, seconded <br />by Commissioner Gustaveson, to adjourn this meeting until 7:30 p.m., <br />December 10, 1979.
