F, <br />Agenda Item '15: Requests from Town of Hillsborough <br />The Chairman announced he had received a letter from the .Mayor of <br />Hillsborough requesting the Board consider providing sufficient computer time <br />and programs so that the Town of Hillsborough could contract with the County <br />for the processing of the Town's utility bi71s. The Manager has responded <br />to the Mayor's letter outlining some necessary steps to be taken before <br />the project could be considered by the County. <br />It was the consensus. of the Board to delay action on this item <br />until a reply was received to the Manager's letter. <br />The Chairman announced he had also received a letter from the <br />Mayor of Hillsborough concerning Hillsborough`s proposed Zoning Ordinance. <br />The Mayor has requested the Board consider administering the enforcement <br />of the ordinance along with the issuance of zoning permits through the <br />County Planning Department. <br />The Planning Director explained the problems his staff would encounter <br />with its present work load if it were to undertake administration of <br />the Hillsborough Zoning Ordinance within the next few months. <br />Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, that <br />the Chairman respond to the Mayor of Hillsborough's letter explaining <br />the problems the Planning Director had expressed. Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Agenda .Item 16: Ghild Su ort Enforcement Solar (IV-D) <br />Commissioner Willhait moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />approve the Manager's recommendation to reclassify the Child Support <br />Enforcement Officer position (IV-D Director) from pay grade 63 to pay <br />grade 67, in line with State pay grade for this position. Vote: ayes, 4; noes, D. <br />The Board requested an opportunity to discuss the memorandum <br />from the Finance Director concerning County finances at the December 3rd <br />meeting along with revenue sources such as fees far erosion control and <br />i <br />reassessment of Health Department fees. <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded <br />by Commissioner Whitted, that the meeting be adjourned.
