Tile Chairman recognized Mr. Stuart Barbour. Mr. Barbour read to <br />the Board a letter raising several questions concerning revaluation and <br />requested the Tax Supervisor's office perform the property xexaluation. <br />Commissioner Barnes requested Mr. Barbour refer his questions to the <br />Tax Supervisor for clarification. <br />Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Con~issioner Gustaveson, to <br />approve the Tax Supervisor's recommendation. Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 14: Oran a Count Rescue S uad <br />The Chairman announced the Orange County Rescue Squad had made a <br />request For a supplementary appropriation of $5,000 from Orange County <br />to assist them in meeting unexpected expenses. <br />Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, to <br />postpone action on the request of Orange County Rescue Squad consistent <br />with the Board's current policy to freeze the contingency fund until <br />the Board knows what funds will be needed for the jail. Vote: ayes, 5; <br />noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 15: Berini Brothers Investment Corporation Appeal <br />Commissioner 'dalker moved to accept the Tax Supervisor's recommendation <br />to reduce the tax valuation of certain real property owned by Berini <br />Brothers Investment Corporation by 50%. Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br />that the appeal of Berini Brothers Investment.Corporation be denied. <br />The Board requested the Tax Supervisor check the zoning of <br />the Berini Brothers Investment Corporation and then make a recommendation <br />to the Board for consideration. <br />Commissioner Willhoit withdrew his motion and Commissioner Gustaveson <br />withdrew his second. <br />Agenda Item 16: Oakdale Woods <br />The Planning Director reviewed the Planning Board's recommendations <br />concerning Oakdale Subdivision. <br />Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br />to approve the variance from the minimum lot size of 15,000 to <br />13,000 square feet in the Oakdale Woods Subdivision, subject to <br />the conditions in attachment "A", as recommended by the Planning Board. <br />Vote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. See page 83 for the conditions of attachement "A". <br />
