C. 27514 <br />October 15, 1979 <br />At the May 3, 1979 meeting of the Orange County Youth Ser- <br />vices Needs Task Force, consideration was given to proposals for <br />Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Funds. Herein, are the <br />recommendations of the Task Force regarding those proposals. <br />It was unanimously recommended by the Task Farce that the <br />County Commissicners request ~7,b33.O0 from JJDF to fund the <br />Phillips' School Project for the coming year. The Task Force <br />also unanimously supported a motion that the Task Force recommend <br />to the County Commissioners that a portion of the remaining JJDF <br />funds in the amount of ~G,500.00 be used to fund the liaison worker <br />position at Janus House. The two aforementioned projects meet the <br />priorities set by the Task Force in regard to residential placement <br />and non-residential counseling for youth. <br />Thank you for your continuing cooperation and support of the <br />efforts of the Orange County Youth Services Needs Task Force 5.n <br />assessing appropriate community alternatives for Orange County Youth. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />~~~~ _ <br />M.
