r- ., .. ._ <br />L~ _ <br />Agenda Item 10: Announcements <br />The Chairman announced he had received a letter from Mr. Bill <br />Breeze who wished to resign from the Road Naming Advisory Committee. <br />The Chairman requested the Clerk forward to the Road Naming Advisory <br />Committee Mr. Breeze's letter of resignation with a reminder the <br />__. <br />Board granted the Committee power of naming persons to the'Committee <br />who represent special areas of expertise. Commissioner Barnes <br />said representation of each township might be given consideration. <br />Commissioner Willhoit said the Board could restructure the Committee <br />if it becomes unwieldy. <br />The Chairman announced he had received an invitation to a <br />reception honoring voluntary organizations to be held Saturday, <br />September 22 at the Executive Mansion from 2:00 to 5:00. He directed <br />the Clerk to invite representatives of the Council on Aging, Board <br />of Health, Recreation Advisory Council and RSVP to attend the <br />' reception, if appropriate. <br />Agenda Item 11: EMS <br />Commissioner Gustaveson requested the Clerk write to persons who <br />were experienced in the Emergency Medical Services area to a <br />meeting with the Board of Commissioners on October 9th or 10th <br />at 7:30 p.m. He suggested inviting all current rescue squad chiefs, <br />i <br />Tommy Griggs, Flo Garrett, Gordon Liner, Fred Parker and Bobby Baker. <br />.. Agenda Item 12: Discussion of September 5th Agenda <br />Chairman Whitted announced discussion of the Planning Director's <br />issue paper and landfill fees were the two agenda items far discussion <br />during the Board's joint meeting with the Chapel Hill Town Council. <br />He suggested the Council members and this Board might want to discuss <br />Mousing Opportunities Plan and Council of Government's new program <br />' policy review if time permits. <br />-" Agenda Item 6: Erosion Control Violation <br />The Erasion Control Officer reported Va11ey Wood Subdivision <br />in Chapel Hill Township, owned by K.G.L.M.
