<br /> <br />Commissioner Willhoit requested the staff notify Chapel Hi11 <br />of the problems Mr. Landers was experiencing with duplicate house numbers <br />and of having a clinic located next to his residence. <br />Agenda Item 66: Tax Valuation of Mary Jones Walker <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to accept the Tax Supervisor's recommendation to set $6p,300 as the <br />approved value of prgperty owned by Mary Jones Walker (Tax map 1, block C, <br />lot 32A). Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 6A: Tax Valuation~of Campus Christian Fellowship, <br />Commissioner Willhoit moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to approve the Tax Supervisor'; recommendation that certain real property at <br />204 Glenburnie, in Chapel Hill, owned by Campus Christian Fellowship, <br />be exempted from local property tax. Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 8: Discussion of September 5th,Agenda <br />The Chairman announced a joint meeting with Chapel Hill Town <br />Council would be he]d September 5, 1979, at 7:30 p.m., in the <br />Commissioners Room, Orange County Courthouse, in Hillsborough. <br />Commissioner Barnes suggested a letter be sent to the Mayor <br />and members of the Town Council suggesting discussion of the joint planning <br />issue paper prepared by County planning staff 6e on the agen~!a and, if time <br />permits, discussion of landfill fees and ask whether Chapel Hill has items <br />to add to the proposed agenda. It was the consensus of the Board that <br />the Chairman would send such a letter to the Mayor: <br />Agenda Item 9: Announcement <br />Commissioner Barnes announced the Mental Health Association <br />had invited Board members to participate in a pot luck to be held <br />September 19th at Hope Rice's at 311 Clayton Road, 6:30 p.m. <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Willhoit moved, <br />seconded by Commissioner Barnes, the meeting be adjourned.
