He also spoke in favor of retaining the <br />1/2 time health aide position. <br />Mr. Lewis Roland, Second vice President of PTA, spoke in favor of <br />the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School's base and supplFl~ental budgets <br />to meet student's competency, health and emotional needs. <br />Mr. Boyd Newman, parent, spoke in favor of Chapel Hi11-Carrboro <br />School's base and supplemental budgets. <br />Mrs. Mary Sugioka spoke in support of retaining health aides <br />in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School system. <br />Mr. Thomas Wallsten, member of Budget and Education Committee, spoke <br />in support of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School's base and supplemental <br />budgets, He also spoke in favor of retaining health aide position. <br />Mr. Bob Sniffen, parent, spoke in favor of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br />School's full budget requests. He also spoke i~ favor of Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro School District supplemental tax. <br />Ms. Joy Williams, President of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Association of <br />Educators, spoke in favor of the Chapel Hill Garrboro School's base <br />and supplemental budgets and in support of raising Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br />School District supplemental tax. <br />Mrs. Sharon Walstein spoke in favor of the Orange County Health <br />Department's budget and the need for additional nurse and health aide <br />positions in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro and Orange County school systems. <br />Mr, Ron Hyatt, Co-President of PTA, spoke in favor of the Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro School's base and supplemental budgets, <br />Ms. Carol Martin, parent, spoke in favor or" the Chapel Hill-Garrboro <br />School's budget requests. She also spoke in favor of retaining a health <br />aide position. - <br />Mr. Frank Binkowski, parent, spoke in favor of the Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro School's budget requests. He spoke in favor of retaining <br />special services for students. <br />Ms. Jane Lillington, parent, spoke in favor of Chapel Hill-Carrbpro <br />School's budget requests. She also spoke in favor of the speech, language <br />and hearing staff. <br />
