y F~ A <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 14, 1979 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special session on <br />Thursday, June 14, 1979, at 7:30 p.m., in Room 110, of the Carrboro <br />Town Hall, Carrboro, North Carolina. <br />Co-mnissiorc•r•s present: Commissioner Richard Whitted, Chairman, and <br />Commissioners Norman Walker, Norman Gustaveson, Anne Barnes and <br />Don Willhoit. <br />Road Matter• <br />Commissioner Whitted gave a brief history of events that occurred <br />with the Department of Transportation, Department of Commerce and the <br />W. H. Brady Company concerning construction of an access road to the <br />W. H. Brady Company's property. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Walker, to <br />approve a resolution to the North Carolina Department of Transportation _ <br />to amend the becondary Road Program for Orange County. Vote: ayes, <br />Commissioners Whitted, Walker and Gustaveson; noes, Commissioners <br />Barnes and Willhoit. See page 523 of this book far copy of said resolution. <br />Commissioner Walker left the meeting at this time. <br />Human Services Bud et: - . <br />Aldermen Jonathan Howes and Bev Kawalec reviewed a letter from ` <br />the Mayor of Chapel Hi11 regarding human services funding and municipal <br />support.
