County of Orange and Duke University Agreement <br />September 15, 2009 <br />The County will be responsible for coordinating and supervising any such investigations. <br />Further, the County will share any and all data collected with the University. <br />D. AMENDMENTS: This agreement may be amended by mutual written agreement of the <br />University and County. <br />TERM: This Agreement shall exist and continue for a period of twenty (20) years, <br />beginning October 1, 2009 and ending September 31, 2029, subject to the right of <br />either party to terminate at any time upon six months' written notice to the other <br />party. It is the intention of the parties, as long as this Agreement remains in effect, to <br />review it every five (5) years (beginning in October 2014) to determine whether the <br />agreement is serving its purpose to the satisfaction of both parties. <br />E. GOVERNMENTAL APPROVALS: Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as <br />waiving, modifying or granting any local government permits or approvals which may be <br />necessary for the development and/or construction of any facilities or improvements. <br />The County is responsible for seeking and obtaining such local government approvals as <br />may be necessary for the intended work. In the event the County's tax office imposes a <br />real estate tax or other fee as a result of this Agreement, it shall be paid by the County. <br />F.
