This appropriation is to be <br />split 50/50 between Chapel HiU Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools, <br />f) Additional County funding for local school districts totals $1,689,732 <br />(1) School Health Nurses -Total appropriation of $617,732 with $430,354 allocated for <br />Chapel Hili Carrboro City Schools and $187,378 allocated for Orange County Schools <br />(2) School Social Workers -Total appropriation of $572,000 allocated in the Department of <br />Social Services to provide School Social Workers to Orange County Schools <br />(3) School Resource Officers -Total appropriation of $500,000 allocated in the Sheriffs <br />Department to provide School Resource Officers to Orange County Schools <br />6) County Fee Schedule <br />To adopt the County Fee Schedule to include changes included in the FY 2009-10 Manager's <br />Recommended Annual Operating Budget. <br />7) Long Range County Capital Projects and Ordinances <br />To amend the following County Capital Project Ordinances for fiscal year 2009-10: <br />a. Blackwood Farm @ New Hope -Reduce FY 2009-10 pay-as-you-go appropriation by <br />$110,000 . <br />b. Millhouse Road Park -reduce FY 2009-10 pay-as-you-go appropriation by $60,000 (will <br />take the FY 2009-10 appropriation to zero) <br />c. Observation Well Network -reduce FY 2009-10 pay-as-you~o appropriation by $24,870 <br />d. Libraries -Future Facilities -- reduce FY 2009-10 pay-as-you-go appropriation by <br />$50,000 (will take the FY 2009-10 appropriation to zero) <br />8) Capital Reserve Fund <br />To authorize a Capital Reserve Fund in which money from surplus property sales would be used <br />toward creation of a permanent southwest Orange branch library and repair of older schools in the <br />Orange County and Chapel Hill Carrboro City school districts. <br />Page 4 of h <br />
