ij <br />J <br />Agenda Item 4: Orange_Count~Involvement Council <br />Ms. Cynthia Werts, Assistant Director, Office of Citizen Affairs, <br />submitted a booklet to the Board outlining the purpose of involvement <br />councils and briefly explained the Board's role as the County's Involvement Cc ~~il <br />The Board requested Ms. Werts convey the Board's frustration about <br />the information given by the Governor's Office relating to allacat~on of <br />state funds. <br />Agenda Item 12: Communit Develo ment Com ensation <br />for ater and ewer Casements <br />Ms. Diana Woolley, Community Development Goordinator, submitted a <br />memorandum requesting just compensation for new easement design of <br />Robert D. and Constance R. Wilson's property in the amount of $100. <br />For copy of this memorandum, see page 446 of this book. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, <br />to approve the recommendation of the Community Development Task Force requesting <br />that just compensation for a water and sewer easement across lane ~~wned <br />by Robert p. and Constance R. Wilson be fixed at $100. Vote: ayes, 4; <br />noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 5: Bid Results <br />The Tax Supervisor explained this bid was for a plotter needed in <br />connection with the Land Title Records Grant. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to approve the Manager's recommendation to accept the law bid of <br />Hewlett-Packard ($8,891.78) for a 9815A desk top computer and a 9871A <br />character impact printer. Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 6: Release of Tax Bills <br />The Tax Collector explained to the Board that his office had tried <br />every method available to collect outstanding taxes due from various <br />individuals and businesses listed in his memorandum to the Board <br />dated May 9, 1979. For copy of this memorandum, see page 447 of this <br />book. <br />Commissioner Gustaveson moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, <br />to accept the Tax Collector's recommendation to declare the accounts <br />listed in the Tax Collector's memorandum of May 9, 1979 insolvent and <br />to authorize release of those tax bills_ Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />
