Rogers-; CETA Director <br />SUBJECT PSE Requests <br />Continuing in our effort to expand the local CETA program and provide <br />needed community services, 1 am recommending approval of the following <br />public service employment positions submitted by the Joint Orange-Chatham <br />Community Action Program: <br />~i Positions Job Title Communit Service Annual Salar Rate <br />(1) Secretary/ Clerical support for $6,240 <br />Receptionist the Chapel Hill Multi- <br />Purpose Center <br />(1) Center Manager Direct operations of 7,450 <br />programs and services <br />at the JOCCA Efland- <br />Cheeks Multi-Purpose <br />Center <br />(2) Community Provide outreach and 6,240 <br />Service Tech- direct program .services <br />nician for youth and other <br />low income persons at <br />the Chapel Hill and <br />Efland-Cheeks Ptulti- <br />Purpose Centers <br />(1) Cook Aide Assist the JOCCA cook 6,076 <br />in the Cedar Grove <br />Multi-Purpose Center <br />in preparing meals <br />for @ 300 persons in <br />Head Start and Nutrition <br />programs <br />For your information, JOCCA had originally applied far a part-time <br />custodial position and a Personnel Assistant/Jobs Counselor position, <br />in addition to those listed above. Through negotiation with the JOCCA <br />Director, we have agreed to meet these needs in other ways which do not <br />require the creation of additional P5E slots. <br />
