Foushee Orange County Commissioners Chairperson PO Box 8 } 81 Hillsborough, NC 27278 Dear Ms: Foushee: We wish to request a representative from the Orange County Boazd of Commissioners or a community representative appointment as soon as possible to-serve on our Board of Directors. We are anon-profit Community Action Agency helping -people to help themselves through the comprehensive services our agency offers. We serve both Orange and Chatham County residents. Our Board of Directors is composed of representatives from the Low-Income, Private and Public Sectors of both counties. They meet every other month, on the fourth Thursday at 4:30pm in Pittsboro at our main office and sometimes rotate to Chapel Hill at the Job Skills Center on Franklin Street. Committee meetings and call meetings are scheduled between our regulazly scheduled boazd meetings. We presently have a vacancy in the Public Sector to be filled; therefore, it would be most appreciated if you would select someone to serve. We will need the name, address, telephone number and title of the individual so that we mad contact him/her with additional information/orientation. I will need an official letter from you stating their appointment to our Boazd of Directors. Consideration of the above request as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated.
