The term "approved" shall mean approved by the North Carolina Medical bullets or numbering <br />Care Commission pursuant to the latter's rules and regulations promulgated under <br />N.C.G.S.143B-165. <br />I.4 Advisory Committee or Committee. The term "Advisory Committee" or "Committee"~------ Formatted: Bullets and Numbering <br />shall mean the Orange County .Emergency Medical Services Committee which is the <br />advisory committee designated by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to <br />emergency medical services in Orange County. <br />1.5 Contract. The term "contract" shall mean the instrument by which both parties agree to•------- Formatted: Bullets and Numbering <br />the terms of operation of the service to be provided. <br />1.6 Convalescent Transportation Services. The term "convalescent transportation service"~----- Formatted: Bullets and Numbering <br />shall mean the operation of an ambulance for any purpose other than transporting <br />emergency or emergent patients. <br />1.7 County.
