Watertown has a history of significant
industrial uses which has transitioned over the years to more suburban uses. One could argue
that the lack of drive through restaurants has probably had the greatest impact on the health of
our residents. We have had significant economic growth and a pretty strong tax base.
I have not heard a great concern from the business community, other than fast food operators,
regarding the prohibition.
i hope that helps. Feel free to forward any additional questions.
Steve Magoon, Director
