(See <br /> also Natural Areas Objective NA-13.) <br /> Status/Action: Ongoing <br /> This is an existing priority of the Lands Legacy Program and adopted parks plans. <br /> Objective PR-5.2: <br /> Landscape parks and recreational facilities with native vegetation and minimize <br /> water use where practical. Prohibit use of known invasive non-native species in <br /> County facilities, and take steps to eradicate occurrences of same. <br /> Status/Action: Ongoing <br /> County Landscape Architect and Parks and Recreation staff pursue this regularly, <br /> consistent with the adopted Environmental Responsibility Goal. <br /> Objective PR-5.3: <br /> Ensure public access to County-owned parks and nature preserves, but direct <br /> facilities and trails away from the most ecologically sensitive sites. <br /> Status/Action: Ongoing <br /> This is a stated priority of the Lands Legacy Program, and a paramount <br /> consideration in designing parks and nature preserves. <br /> 36 <br />
