5 <br />^ Long-term tower management responsibilities. <br />There may eventually be rental income coming to the County as a result of this tower <br />management agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: The Administration recommends that the Board: <br />1. Receive this abstract. <br />2. Conduct a Public Hearing and accept all public comments on the subject. <br />3. Approve the staff recommendation by: <br />a. Selecting the County properties identified on the attached map (Attachment 1) for <br />potential tower locations, <br />b. Enroll the list of candidate sites (Attachment 2) into the Master <br />Telecommunications Plan (MTP), and <br />c. Approve the attached resolution enrolling the aforementioned public properties <br />into the MTP program (Attachment 3). <br />4. Authorize staff to begin the process of applying for various grants for the project. <br />It should be noted that there is no action required by the Planning Board on this item. This is a <br />BOCC decision. <br />
