3 <br />3. The proposed language addresses the majority of the concerns expressed during the <br />September 10, 2009 BOCC work session. Additional research and amendments can be <br />made during the UDO process to address additional concerns. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This request has been reviewed by various County departments who <br />have determined the approval of the request will not create the need for additional funding for <br />the provision of County services. <br />NOTIFICATION PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS: In accordance with Section 20.6 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance the Zoning Officer hereby certifies that the public hearing for this item was <br />advertised consistent with the requirements of the Ordinance within a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the County for two (2) successive weeks with the first notice appearing not less <br />than ten (10) days nor more than twenty -five (25) days before the date set for the public hearing. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Zoning Officer recommends the Board: <br />1. Receive the zoning text amendment proposal, <br />2. Conduct the Public Hearing and accept public comment on the petition, <br />3. Refer the matter to the Planning Board with a request that a recommendation be returned <br />to the County Board of Commissioners in time for the February 16, 2010 BOCC regular <br />meeting, and <br />4. Adjourn the public hearing until February 16, 2010 in order to receive and accept the <br />Planning Board's recommendation and any submitted written comments. <br />
